TIME

Time. The concept that has constantly flowed throughout life. The longer we run with it, the more knowledgeable we become. The more we run with it, the more dangerous it becomes as it causes our body to breakdown, slowly. The flux of time is tricky and the second flux we are exploring.

The Woman

Yayoi Kusama, 1953

The watercolour depicts a singular cell-like being with subtle dots in the center floating in a seemingly black abyss. The overall effect of the work is aggressive and bizarre, showing signs of Kusama's struggles with mental illness and anxiety... (click on image for more)
